MY NEW METHOD IN READING

Last week, I studied reading, after seeing the material of the lesson. She r3eceived a call from her mother that her father was sick. My lecture only gave us home work to look for more information in her lesson. It’s about skimming.

After getting it, I went to multimedia library to look for skimming. I wanted to get information about it. Before looking for it, my friend invited me to look for her home work at the internet. I accompanied her. When I she was looking for her article, I remembered about my task, it’s a skimming. It could be fond out from internet. My friend helped me to get it. At the time, I didn’t have much money for internet, so I just took the technique of skimming article.

And then, I entered the reading room. I looked for some of reading book. I choose one by one and then, after choosing one of them. I got the interesting title, I took and read it at the corner. After reading it, the book had 1000 pages, I took my paper and wrote the main idea of the skimming.

I was really happy. I could get more information from internet and book about skimming. I had known that skimming, especially the main idea exactly, quickly, the technique of the skimming; The first, reading the main idea or the first paragraph; the second, reading the first sentence of each paragraph; the third, reading any heading or sub-heading:; the fourth, reading any picture or graps; the fifth, reading the summary or the last paragraph.

After that, I took newspaper, I tried to use skimming of reading. Oh….. it’s surprise, because, by using this method, I could get more information.

DESCRIPTIVE

MULTIMEDIA LIBRARY

It is a library in the right side of the wilayah library. It’s located in Jalan Slt. Alauddin. It place is very strategy, in front of this library is Muhammadiyah university. This place is very easy to find it. Before entering this library, you will find a beautiful park. There are flowers and plants. You will hear the twitter of bind. You feel comfortable there.

After entering this library, you can get the internet room,. In the first part, you will find the toilet room, in the right side, you’ll see the toilet room for women. The second, at the left side, it is toilet for men. The last part, you will find a lot of book, such as religion, history, literature, education and etc. it is arranged orderly. In there, not only old books but also, new book and new edition. You just choose it that you want.

As the conclusion, multimedia is one of the library in Makassar that has old books and new books and new edition. Beside that, the location is very strategy an it’s easy to find it. It’s very useful, because a lot of student go there to find some book especially for their task and many students hold a meeting especially for student of English, they practice their English spoken at the park. A lot of people visit there because it has a beautiful scenery at the park.

ARGUMENTATION

STOPPING THE INFLUENCE OF AIDS

Now, HIV/AIDS not only in health case, but also social case. The influence of HIV/AIDS, because the attitude of every people. The government tried to influence of AIDS but, it is quite difficult, because many people doesn’t care about this problem. As we know that AIDS attack system imun of every people. So, day after day, people who infected by AIDS. They will be weak and easy to sick and also make someone dies.

The best way to stop the influence of AIDS by giving enough knowledge about the influence of AIDS and dangerous of AIDS to every people. As we know that, AIDS can influence from someone to other people through blood, sperm, ovum and ASI.

So, before influencing of AIDS not so wide, it had better to promote the way to stop the influence of AIDS by wearing condom and say no to drugs. Because having sex and drugs are the main way of AIDS’ influence from the other people.

We hope, by promoting the dangerous of AIDS to every people or every teenagers in the world, if it can be3 sopped the influence of AIDS and minimize the influence of AIDS. So, every people can save from AIDS. As we know that, the reach walth of every body, their health or keeping their self from sickness.
