NARRATION (ESSAY)

Topic : My English Teacher

Introduction : I Have a problem when senior high senior school

I was shy and a silint people

I was afraid to speak English

I was not in the mood for English lesson

Body : One day, there a new English teacher

Her name Mrs. Salawati

Mrs. Salawati was very caring and patient

She has teachung way which is fun

I Could gradually change his mood in learnin English

Conclusion : Mrs. Salawati noosted my spirit to learn English

Her student called her a hero

It was motivated me to be a English teacher

It was one of the reason why I have English Department

MY ENGLISH TEACHER

When I was in public Senior High School, exactly the second year. I head cope with a very difficult problem. It was time when I didn’t have courage to speak English because I was afraid of making mistakes in vocabulary usage, pronunciation and especially structure.

To make things worse, I was basically so shy regarded as a silent person. I ever said to Ummul, my classmate, that I didn’t have a bravery to speak English because of those factors. Consequently, I was not in the mood for English lesson especially when the teacher asked me for giving opinion or having presentation in front of the class.

One day, there was a new English teacher in my school. Her name was Mrs. Salawati. Fortunately, this new English teacher was very caring and patient. She was willing to give her hand whenever me and her classmates need some help to the difficulties with her lesson. She said that she allowed her student to play their own cassettes or mobile phone and listen to English language songs during the lesson. In short, while I and My classmates were taking notes or doing assignment, they were also being entertained.

She divided the lesson into two sessions and arranged it in such ways. In the first sessions her students studied theorist about English language in general them, in the second session, she asked.

Them to be active participants by joining certain games such as scrabble or their favorite one. It was so much fun! With a lot of practice time, instead of theory it self, I could gradually change my mood in learning English.

That English reacher was really able to boost my spirit to learn English teacher was really able to boast my spirit to learn English well. They way she taught her student was very deeply affected her students called her a hero it was motivated me to be and English teacher like Mrs. Salawati. And it was one of the reason why I have took English Department in UNISMUH

MULTIMEDIA LIBRARY

Multimedia library is one of the big libraries in Makassar. It on Sultan Alauddin street. It is about two hundreds meters near Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Before arriving to Multimedia library, we pass a beautiful garden. Everyday the garden is used by collegians or society as a place for discussion, studying, or just relaxing. At around Multimedia building, there is a language history building. Therefore this library is a complete one.

Multimedia has a large and wide building. It’s also comfortable. People will feel enjoy in it because it is ful of air fresh, cool, piece and silent. The arrangement of the room in it is wide, so peole can study or read a book well.

In this building, we can find some rooms with different functions. The first room yu can find is the front room. In this room we can see the miniature of Multimedia library. We can also see the South Sulawesi map hanging on the wall. After passing the first room, we enter the second room. In this room we can find internet room for public on the left side of the second room and the for official on the right side one. Near the entrance of the second room, there is a storage to save bags, and money except money and electronic things.

After passing the second room, we’ll find the third room. It is reading room. If we want to read boks, we have to list our name on the list book. People sometimes use this room to find some materials and some references for their assignments. There also many bookshelves in this room like, society and culture book, religion books, language books, health books, sport and art books, and etc.

On the second floor of this building, there is a room for regency archives all of archives about regencies in South Sulawesi are saved in this room. We can check everything, like society, cultures, region, development planning of regency every year and the expansion of the regencies in South Sulawesi.

People like reading in this library freely because the book are complete. We also can find some new books that rarely find outside. Because of that, Multimedia library is surely suitable for whoever want to add their knowledge especially for the collegians from Muhammadiyah University.
