NARRATIVE ESSAY

FRIENDSHIP

His name is Gerin. My friend and I always saw him strangely because he always goes on tiptoe, his glasses is very thick, his hair is always in disorder. His clothes are never neat. Actually I am compassion to see him. But the condition makes me follow to ignorant for him

Today Gerin passed me, and the others laugh him, be mock his style walks. Gerin is only silent while fasting his walks. There are something strange on his eyes. Suddenly compassion feeling in my heart. I saw Salman put his put so Gerin stumbled, I want to talk for him but I am late and Gerin fall down. All of my friends laugh him. I am revolted with them. I close to Gerin and help him to stand up and take his books. “Thank you, Cika! Thank you!” I see his eyes have water. Gerin be gone and al of my friends are silent looking me help him.

This year Gerin and I are in the same class again. All of students are wearing new uniforms except Gerin. His broken shoes and his torn bag are still in his body.

“Cika, do you want to sit beside me?” Gerin asked me in front of the others. I saw them laugh me. “So, sorry Gerin. I can’t.” But the other didn’t want to sit with me Cika! You are different, you are very kind.”

I am confused, suddenly I am compassion but I am afraid be mock by the others. I remembered my mom’s message, “Don’t see the outside, even though the others do not like. You must have attitude, to be friend or not following your heart.”

I close to Gerin table, and then sit beside him. I saw him very nice. Finally Gerin and I become friendship. Gerin always go to my home, study together and right now he can follow me to be the second hood. There are many friends admire but thought that Gerin cheat. Hearing this issue, Gerin is just silent.

I always advise him to neat his hair, and his clothes. I give him some books, some pens ad etc. I saw his eyes have water when I give him something.

This year is almost ended. We are busy to face the final exam. And now my classmates rare disturb Gerin again. While sitting relaxed, I ask him, “Where will you continue your junior high school?” he said, “I follow my parents go back. Maybe will be separate with Cika…” Cika said, “Gerin, even though we will separate, but we will be friendship forever.”

Now twenty years has gone. I have been an adult and being a teacher. And my friend Gerin becomes a doctor. Until now, we still send a letter each other. Our friendship is very space for us.

Today I read magazine. I saw an article about doctor Gerin. He is very intelligent I think. He’s nice. I read the magazine more than I want to cry. When I was on elementary school I have down. The poor make me down. Anyone care me, my friends, teachers, and my parents. I want to fade away my home and my school

I have prepared to go and I don’t know my purpose. At that time, my friends disturb me and I am stumbled. My heart is more steady to go. But suddenly a hand helps me to stand up and take my books. No one like that to me. I don’t forget it. I cancelled to go. I try to face it because my friend Cika. Until now she is my best friend. Thank you, Cika! Thank you! So give me a name for my first daughter Cika Andasari. Once again thank you, Cika! You are my friend who had changed my life.

I couldn’t continue my reading. I cry. I never fancy will be happen like that. I just want to help him. How about you all? I wish you can also become a good friend for the others.

BUNTU MATABBING BEACH

Buntu Matabbing is one of0 sub districts in Belopa regency. It lies about 30 kilometres from Palopo. It’s a big beach region. There are some resorts that can make us interested to visit it, like the natural panorama of the beach. There are many villas there, and the biggest and modern villa is The Regent of Luwu’s villa. This building has facilities that complete the beach and to spoiled the visitor. There are also a large area especially for some events and party.

Buntu Matabbing beach is a natural beautiful beach, but right now it is more famous as a place of some event or party. It looks like a hidden place because it is far from the highway. But it’s ok because the road of the entrance of this beach is very large. Therefore, it’s not a problem if you go by car, motorcycle or by on foot for about a kilometer to reach the place. On the way you will feel the fresh air around you because the beautiful scene of the forest.

Not need a long time and an expensive cost to reach the place. it because you must buy a ticket to enter it. During passing the way and the forest, you will see some scarce birds singing around you and sometimes flying on the trees. There are also many big trees as long as the way which has cultivation by the government. After that you will find a beautiful place. Some people call it paradise. Maybe because of its beautiful scene or etc. Firsly, this place is only a small beach, but the government of Belopa regency changes it to be a fantastic object of tourism by adding some facilities to complete its beautiful scene like, swimming pool, boats, entertainment every week, and some café.

Butu Matabbing is a beautiful place to visit and it is a nice and save place to spend holiday. Our government always make some events in this place like campaign, scout camp, and MTQ and etc. this place is also used by society to held a party like, birthday party or wedding party. So right now, this place is to be one of the big income of Belopa regency.
