AL AMIN AUDITORIUM
Al-Amin auditorium is one of big buildings in Muhammadiyah University. It is at the front side of the campus. When enter the campus, the auditorium is on the right of the library. There are also a photocopy stall and public phone on its side. It is the first building of the campus.
When we step into the building, we’ll find a small terrace in front of it. At the entrance, we’ll see a big door made of glass and wood. It is very large inside. The room consists of some poles. Near from there, there are stairs on the left and on the right and AC in each corner. This room has two floors and the ceiling is unique made of wood. Muhamadiyah logo is on the wall.
Al-Amin Auditorium is used for big events, like wedding party, raised, flat form arts and seminar, and etc which is held by campus and student activities. The biggest event that Muhammadiyah University always held is graduation ceremony. It is usually held twice in a year.
This room was very large and comfortable. There are many people sometimes use this building for their events. This building may contain of a thousands persons. That’s why this building becomes the favorite place, not only for Muhammadiyah members but also the society that come from out of the campus.

- I back home on foot and enjoy beautiful panorama on our left and right side
- It was very nice experience.
MY HOLIDAY
Two years ago, when I was at senior high school I went to the one of popular recreation place which is called Sarambu, with my friends. We went there by car and needed less than 2 hours trip from our school. It was the biggest waterfall at the north of Palopo and located in the middle of two big mountains. Before decided to go there, we prepared many things because the night is very difficult and dangerous and there was ravine as long as the street.
When we found the waterfall we were so happy because it’s very wonderful and it’s more and more amazing that what were thinking about. I take a break for a while after having long tired trip. And then, I enjoyed the water and the green panorama around me.
After feeling better, I join with all my friends swimming in a small pond under the waterfall. We swam together for about 30 minutes. Out from the water, I felt so cold and tried to collect small branch to make small campfire for heating my body.
The clock showed 12 o’clock and it meant it was time to get lunch. I choose a very big stone near from the waterfall which has a flat surface for our lunch. It was perfect and unique place that I’ve ever found. And we started to get lunch. Some rice, fried noodles, and a glass of water made me full enough.
In the evening, I came back home with all my friends. We back home on foot and enjoyed beautiful panorama on our left and right sides of us. I inhaled the fresh air came into my lung. It was a nice experience and I promised I would come to that place again next time.

GLOBAL WARMING
Global warming is the hot issue commonly we hear everyday. People always talk about it. It also becomes the headline in every newspaper and main topic in every news on TV or radio. Global warming is the effect of the stratum of air which dominated with carbon dioxide and make holes on the stratum of ozone. It becomes bigger and bigger everyday, so the ultraviolet light of sun hasn’t hindrance to the earth and it causes many problems like new ills and makes the temperature of the world higher in seconds. Global warming is the biggest threatening for human existence and it must be stop because if it’s not, we will find the end of this world will come earlier than what the specialist predict.
The first big effect of global warming is unpredictable change of climate. For example, ten years ago in Indonesia, rainy season would be end for six months and the other was dry season. But nowadays, dry and rainy season sometimes go on more than six months. We also find rain in a second and the next second is sunny, two or three times in a day.
There are many problems with skin as an effect of the global warming nowadays. It is very dangerous if we go out without using sun block. The sun light will burn our skin. And finally it may be the first factor of skin cancer in the world.
The next effect of global warming is liquefying of ice on the north and south poles. It causes the sea surface become higher for the whole world. If the condition persists for a long time, I believe that this world and all its contents will be under the water at sooner and the end of the stories about life, human, animals, trees, and this world, of course.
The most important thing we have to do from now is how to stop the worst influence of the global warming starting from our house, limiting the usage of refrigerator, AC<>
