NARRATIVE ESSAY

Topic : Memory on the Beach
Introduction : I had jogging on the beach
There are many parents
Enjoy the relax

Conclusion : Feeling disappointed to Andi’ statement
Steadiness just makes our subjects disturbed.

MEMORY ON THE BEACH

It was on Sunday morning, March, 14th 2007. My friends and I planned to go to the beach for jogging and playing volleyball on the beach. After taking prayer at dawn, I started wearing my sport suit. Meanwhile, my aunt was in the kitchen preparing our breakfast and my father was still in the mosque. Before going out to the beach, I drank a glass of water and ate a banana for my health.
At about 5:30 AM, my friends were already in front of my house calling me to go to the beach. I went out and joint with them jogging to the beach. On the way, one of my friends, Andi, tried to get closer to me and the others were in front of us leaving both Andi and me farther. We were talking and joking together. And then, not feeling we had jogging so far we arrived on the beach.
Arriving on the beach, we take a rest for a moment and inhaled the fresh water blowing around us. Andi suddenly went to his friend’s house. I didn’t what eh wanted to take. After several minutes, he came back. He brought a volley ball so we played volleyball on the beach. It was a nice moment.
After feeling tired, I took a rest for a moment. Then, I saw Andi sitting alone near the coastal lip. Taking a rest alone was rather bad, so I came to Andi to accompany him enjoy the sea. He just kept silent. Suddenly he told me about his feeling to me that he loved me. I just could quiet because I didn’t know what I had to say. Until now, I just saw him like my brother. So I ran away home leaving all of them on the beach.
Arriving at home, I went to my bed. I felt disappointed to Andi’s statement. I had never thought about it. It was too early for me. After this case I never meet him again. I don’t want to make a steadiness because it can disturb my concentration to my subjects. If you have a boyfriend, everyday you’ll just think of him and dream him. So if you are studying and you need a concentration to the subject, you’ll sometimes imagine him and lose your concentration.

UNIVERSITY OF MUHAMMADIYAH OF MAKASSAR

Muhammadiyah university of Makassar (sometimes called Unismuh) is one of famous universities in Makassar. It lies on Sultan Alauddin street. There are South Sulawesi library, Multimedia library and some stalls in front of this campus. Whereas, beside of this campus, there are a bank, Pertamina fuel pump, and etc. this campus looks so clean and neat. It also has some buildings, for example auditorium, library, BKKBN, canteen, mosque, clinic, and buildings for studying like A, B, AB, G, and F buildings.
Unismuh is one of the best campuses in Makassar because it has many students that come from several regions in Indonesia. There also several students from abroad taking their studies at this campus. They choose Unismuh maybe because it is cheaper and has enough facilities. This campus also has some faculties, like Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Economy Faculty, Agriculture Faculty, technique faculty, Moslem religion faculty and social and politic faculty.
The activities in this campus are always lively and busy. It’s always crowded because there are thousands students spread in every building and there is no holiday in a week. Everyday we can hear the laugh of the students on the corridor of the campus. There are also some student organization in this campus, like Mapala, Talas, Muhammadiyah Youth Association, and etc. So that, the collegians can improve their talent and their skill base on their ability.
All students are very happy studying in this campus because we can pull our sense up. Beside that, Unismuh has enough facilities and some competitive lecturer that can develop this campus by leading the students to be a successful one. And the fact, we can see many alumni of Unismuh spread in every region with a good job.
