MY HOLIDAY

When having my holiday last year, I went to a small village near my village. There are many people live there and majority of them are farmers. There are also many rice fields near the high way. I went there by car with my friends. When we arrive at the village, we looked for a small alley on the left side of the highway. In front of the alley, there is a big board describing the direction of “crocodile breeding about 200 hundred meters inside. And then, we moved quickly.
The location of the crocodile breeding is far from the society because it’s very dangerous for people who live around the location. Its constructed is in isolated area which has protected by the government and law.
The route to the crocodile breeding was easy for walker. It’s only small alley and all transportation can’t be used through this way. After taking a walk for fifteen minutes, we found the place. It consists of six big ponds which has some big crocodiles. Many visitors gave the crocodile a chicken for their meals. Then, I tried to do something like that slowly but surely I feed one of the big crocodile with a chicken like what they gave. It was very dangerous and nervous action. After feeding them, I took some photos. I felt so great and proud taking a photo with the crocodiles.
After finishing our activity there in the afternoon, my friends and I came back home. I would never forget that I came to amazing place and took a picture with one of wild dangerous predators in the world. It was my fantastic experience I’ve ever had.


DESCRIPTIVE ESSAY
Topic : Language Laboratory
Introduction :
- The location of Muhammadiyah University
- Language laboratory is one of Muhammadiyah University’s facilities.
- It is on the third floor of A building.
Body :
- I see its door made of metal and windows made of wood and glasses out side.
- The room quite large inside
- There were blue carpets cover the floor, rounded tables with five chairs for each table, sound system, six lights, and a clock hanging on the wall.
Conclusion :
- Language laboratory is used for language class only.
- The facilities of this class are complete and make me feel comfort when the lesson’s running.

LANGUAGE LABORATORY

Muhammadiyah University is one of famous colleges in Makassar. It’s location was at Sultan Alauddin street which are near from the gas station on its side and Multimedia and South Sulawesi Libraries in front of it. I am a third semester student of English department at Muhammadiyah University. This campus has some complete facilities that support the learning process. One of its facilities is language laboratory.
First time I saw the language laboratory, I felt surprised. Actually, it’s a unique room. When we see from out side, there is a door made of metal as the first door. The second door is made of wood behind the first door. Then I see windows made of wood and glasses beside the door. When entering the room, I see a white color cover the wall. It’s quite large inside. There are also blue carpets cover the floor and some rounded tables which have five chairs for each table.
This room is also completed by sound systems, six lights, LCD projector, and a screen fro applying objects of the projector. On the wall, there is also a clock hanging on the wall. The room also has an air condition (AC) so the students can feel enjoy and comfortable when the lessons are running.
Language laboratory is a special room because it is only used for English class. It is complete with some facilities and makes the students feel comfort when having lesson there. It is also the only one room in Muhammadiyah University which has a high technology in learning process.
